Hi,
I'm giving miniupnp another try. I have just compiled and installed version 1.9.20151212 onto my router box which runs Debian 7.
I can see the process running, and I can see the that it is listening on some UDP ports.
But when I try a diagnostic utility, such as "UPnP Port Works 3.1D", it finds my UPnP IGD and reports this message:
498 : GeneralControlUrls() - Failure: The remove server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.
This occurs when it tries to query the UPnP peers on the LAN.
If I use the IP and port number mentioned in the miniupnp log, I can point my browser to it, and I get the UPnP XML without any problem.
Why do I get the HTTP 401 code using the Port Works test utility? Does MiniUPnPd block this query?
Are there any other UPnP test clients?
Many thanks,
Dave |
