So, if the PS4 gets an IP address by DHCP and gets its reservations and then is not used for a while, it may get another IP address next time it is switched on. Then you end up with two uPnP port forwards to different LAN IP's (if using iptables) and this cannot work.
I had the same with a Sia server where I moved the app to a different machine (and therefore IP address). At least if there were a sensible lease time, the lease would expire and allow the other port forward to work.
It sounds like this is not a brilliant aspect of the uPnP spec. |

That's why IGDv2 does not allow unlimited lease time.
But anyway, it is also a good thing to configure the DHCP server to always allocate the same IP to the PS4 _________________ Main miniUPnP author.
