We have noticed that natpmp doesn't send the multi cast when the external IP changes... is this a known issue?
Thanks,

Yes, but that is the only multicast part of NAT-PMP and clients seem to work without it. In fact, when I implemented custom NAT-PMP daemon for case with several public IPs for clients in one subnet (see http://miniupnp.tuxfamily.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=436&start=15), that was the only possibilty to have port redirection working - in UPnP multicast is mandatory, in NAT-PMP it's not, so I just couldn't get it working with UPnP.
Of course, in my conditions it was not possible to do multicast by direct unicast for every address in loop could do the work as an alternative. However, when you have several public addresses, they're definetely not changing fast, so I didn't implement this feature too :) _________________ WBR, Nuclear Lightning |

I implemented something today :
miniupnpd-1.4.20091106.tar.gz
The multicast message should be sent when the signal SIGUSR1 is received. _________________ Main miniUPnP author.
