Hi,
Are there any important reasons (aside from memory usage I suppose) why the max listening ip's is set to 4 by default? Or can I safely increase to, say, 200? (Dealing with a lot of subnets here..)
Thanks. |

memory usage is the main reason.
It is also unlikely to have more than 2 or 3 subnets where miniupnpd is the most used (in "home" routers, runing OS such as OpenWRT).
I dont see any problem to set the limit to several dozens or hundreds I never tried, so tell us if you encounter problems. _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

They are now stored as a linked list, so there is no limit in newer versions of miniupnpd ! _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

Very good, we'll give it a try. I promise to report back if we encounter any problems. |
