I am using upnpc to open ports for cctv applications on a raspberry pi.

The raspberry pi shows the two upnp entries in "upnpc -L" command. However we discover that after some time, it will fail to work. Port scanner scans as closed although the entries are still in list.

From what i understand about the ttl and keepalive, it is happening between the client and the router (IGD) itself. I have kept the default settings and didnt change any. Is my understanding wrong?

Anyone encounters such scenarios before?

No one would be able to help you without more details.
The Raspberry pi is the client, but what is the router ?
which IGD implementation is it using ?
