Jumping into Black Ops 7 can feel tough. The maps are new and the fast players seem to know where you are before you spawn. If you want something simple that helps you stay alive and learn the game, use a loadout that is stable, forgiving, and easy to control. This setup will let you focus on movement and aim before you chase advanced builds or test things in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby.

Primary choice matters most for a new player. Pick the M15 Mod 0 as your main weapon. The M15 has low recoil and steady damage, so it is easier to land follow-up shots than with high-recoil rifles. The weapon works well at short and medium ranges, and it still performs at longer distances if you play safe. That means you can learn core skills without getting punished for small aiming errors.

Fit the M15 with attachments that boost control and uptime. Use a small red dot or reflector sight so your screen is clean and target tracking is fast. Add a recoil-reducing muzzle and a grip that cuts horizontal drift. Carry an extended 40-round mag so you can survive multi-enemy fights or miss a few shots without needing a reload. These choices keep the gun steady and let you focus on positioning and aim, not on fighting recoil.

Choose a quick secondary for tight fights. A light SMG is best if you want to keep moving and win close corners. A pump shotgun works if you panic in tiny rooms, since one good hit ends many fights. The SMG option gives faster hip-fire and swap speed, while the shotgun option gives a clean one-shot answer in very close ranges. Pick the one that matches how you already move on maps.

Perks and equipment should protect you and keep you in the fight. For survivability take Flak Jacket to reduce explosive damage and Tac Mask to cut stun and flash effects. For utility take Scavenger so you do not run out of ammo and Ghost so you stay off enemy UAVs when you move. For gear carry a Frag or Semtex to clear corners and a Stim Shot to restore health quickly after a hit. These choices help you survive mistakes and give you time to learn fights.

Practice the loadout in short sessions and use bots for focused drills. Spend a few matches practicing recoil control, then do a short buy BO7 Bot Lobbies session to test your aim, reload timing, and weapon swap under no pressure. Work on map awareness and simple movement so you can get to cover and win trades. Change only one attachment or perk at a time so you can see what actually helps.
