Hi Thomas,

I was pondering if it would be possible or advisable to build one version of the miniupnpd daemon that could handle both IGD v1 and IGD v2, with the mode being a run-time (command line and config file) option. I'm sure you have your reasons for going the compile time route and was wondering if you could elaborate? There might be reasons I haven't thought of for not having the IGD version be run-time switchable (e.g. larger binary size and memory use due to having code for both versions compiled, etc.). Thanks for any 411!

well miniupnpd code is made this way, just have a look at upnpdescgen.c

there would be no reason to compile with only IGDv1 if Microsoft XBox one weren't so buggy...
