I would like to enable IGD v2 for Openwrt router. But in README, it is mentioned "IGD v2" is still not enabled by default because of interoperability issues".

What kind of interoperability issues occur due to enabling IGD v2 ?

Any patch available to avoid interoperability issues.

Microsoft Windows Doesn't support IGD v2. And does not support UPnP v2.0.
Which means, that although the UPnP standard state IGD v1 clients must be compatible with IGDv2 devices, the MS Windows UPnP clients refuses to recognize IGDv2 devices.
