Folks,

I have a setup on Ubuntu Linux where I have two network interfaces and what to use upnpc to learn the local and external IPv4 addresses of my host, and to install port-forwarding rules on the CPE router.

When trying to learn the external address, I do:
upnpc -s -m IFACE

No matter whether I set "IFACE" to the interface name (e.g. eth0 or wlan1) or to the associated IPv4 address of such interface, it seems the -m option has no effect.

(FWIW, I've run a sniffer, and UPnP packets are always sent on the same interface, no matter the setting of the "-m" option)

I've tried both the minimupnp package in Ubuntu, and I've also tried cloning the repo from github

Any clues?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Fernando

options should come before the command.
Code:
$ upnpc -m xxx -s
