Hi, I came across a router that does not support UPNP but does support PMP. Packet sniffing other programs like torrent clients show successful port openings using PMP protocol.
I am interested in using a PMP client to open specific ports for game servers and I came across miniupnpc. It doesn't seem to be sending out any PMP packets and I don't see any switches mentioning PMP.
I downloaded the source for miniupnpc-2.1.20191224 and I don't seem to see any references to PMP at all.
Is it possible you've only placed support in the server? Do you have any plans to add it to the client?
Thanks! |

As you understood, miniupnpc is not an implementation of NAT-PMP.
you can use https://miniupnp.tuxfamily.org/libnatpmp.html
