as far as i can tell no client seems to work with this router, but XP does show non standard mappings enabled in it's list (i just cant change or add ports). both XP and utorrent dont work, azureus on linux worked once (fluke?) and then never again. Of course upnpc also doesnt work. |

I compiled a newer Windows Binary.
I dont think it will work better, but it will give better error messages _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

from the output, it seems like AddPortMapping() did work and that only UPNP_GetSpecificPortMappingEntry() is failing.
Does upnpc -l gives something ? (after trying to add a new redirection) _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

this time AddPortMapping failed with code 501 which is just"action failed". Nothing very precise from the router _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

I think so
Miniupnpc communicates correctly with your router but the router doesn't want to add the port mapping... appart from reporting the bug to the vendor, I think you can't do anything _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

Hi guys, I'm getting exactly same errors:
Code: |
$ ./upnpc-static -a 10.0.0.193 8000 8000 TCP
upnpc : miniupnpc library test client. (c) 2006-2009 Thomas Bernard
List of UPNP devices found on the network :
desc: http://10.0.0.138:80/IGD.xml
st: urn:schemas-upnp-org:device:InternetGatewayDevice:1
Found valid IGD : http://10.0.0.138/upnp/control/wanpppcpppoa
Local LAN ip address : 10.0.0.193
ExternalIPAddress = 194.109.230.187
AddPortMapping(8000, 8000, 10.0.0.193) failed with code 501 (Action Failed)
GetSpecificPortMappingEntry() failed with code 714 (NoSuchEntryInArray)
|
...it is creepy Apple's Time Capsule, but what bugs me is that Skype can successfully open a port, not to mention that it's not even running:
Code: |
$ ./upnpc-static -l | grep 193
Local LAN ip address : 10.0.0.193
55 UDP 50361->10.0.0.193:50361 'Skype UDP at 10.0.0.193:50361 (1128)' ''
|
any ideas how to hack this? |

which miniupnpc version ?
that kind of bug is hard to analyse... maybe you can capture the Addportmapping SOAP communication with Wireshark or tcpdump and compare with the same done by skype. _________________ Main miniUPnP author.
