miniupnp is spamming syslog with message like this:
Code: | Sep 9 18:26:42 OpenWrt daemon.err miniupnpd[2021]: Failed to get ip address for interface br-wan |
What can I do to "fix" it?
I'm using OpenWrt on a TL-WR1043ND.
Be friendly, I'm not a linux expert, or even user, and use most the Luci web interface to configure the router.
Thank you!

I was able to fix it with help of irc people.
Just removed bridge from wan interface and it was able to get an address.
Code: | option 'type' 'bridge' |
Thanks to share your miniupnp package with the community! |

Hi,
I am having a similiar problem, also on an OpenWRT-Router.
In my case, miniupnpd cannot get the IP of eth1, which is the physical port, the DSL-model is connected to (also pppoe).
OpenWRT uses a virtual port "pppoe-wan" for the pppoe connection, which also has the external IP. eth1 does not have one.
Any chance to make miniupnpd ignore eth1? |
