I made the miniupnpc debian/ubuntu packages to:

This make 4 package:
libminiupnpc - miniupnpc library (libminiupnpc.so.2)
libminiupnpc-dev - miniupnpc headers and libminiupnpc.a
miniupnpc - the client app (upnpc)
python-miniupnpc - python package

miniupnpc-debian.tar.gz

Exclamation the setup.py file need executable rights! pls change it.

And this is a mini patch to correct the makefile: makefile-bindir.patch

After some test, pls contact with debian and ubuntu to add this package to they repo.

Is 16 GB big enough for a Debian GNOME installation? I'm about to install debian for the first time. I'm using the netinst CD. Is there anything special i should know?

You are not on the right forum to ask this question.
