Hello.
Will miniupnpd work on the NAT host, which is not the gateway to the client?
scheme:
CLI -- PPPoE --> NAS -- ISP Backbone --> NAT --> Internet
Thx. |

what do you mean NAT host "not gateway for client".
Please explain the network setup better.
The NAT is usually the default gateway for clients, because all the network traffic needs to go through it for NAT...
I guess your "NAT host" has 2 network interfaces, one with the "public" IP, one on the private IP LAN ?
That is the kind of sutup miniupnpd is made for ! _________________ Main miniUPnP author.

I mean that the at client the default gateway address specified as pppoe tunnel address.
Client_host (172.16.0.11) --> PPPoE_tunnel --> NAS (only pppoe termination) --> ISP Backbone (gre tun from NAS (192.168.0.2) to NAT (192.168.0.1)) --> NAT (do NAT from 172.16.0.0/12 network to white ip pool on internet iface) --> Internet |

So it looks OK... Only make sure that multicast packets are able to reach the NAT box from the client. _________________ Main miniUPnP author.
